Hello again. We have just got back from a short break in the West Country and very nice it was too, especially that special apple juice they brew for big people! Even though we took a week away from the cake making it didnt stop us from answering emails and working out quotes for you, our wonderful customers. I guess it makes it a bit easier when still sat in bed with tea and Ipad and toast. It also dawned on us that we have now been in business just over a year, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to us, and what a year its been too. The first 9 months we spent trying to establish ourselves and find a niche in popular cupcake market place and pick up a few weddings. Since the start of this year we have had a slight change of tack and a huge growth in customers. Which is nice! As you can all see from our gallery we now produce many and varied bespoke cakes for all sorts of events. And as for weddings, we are looking very good at the moment and for the next two months. Debbie will be working full time on the cake creative front from mid July so we should be able to cope with a few more orders, or we may just be able to get a day a week off to catch up with normal life stuff. Right then, the oven is back on, the mixer has been dusted down and a fresh pinny awaits. Here we go, round two! |
